Fuel Surcharge

Cool Cargo UK have seen an immense change to fuel prices over the last few years. To protect our customers from constant fluctuations in their logistics rates we are injecting some stability in 2022, due to increasing costs of fuel the company has listed a guide to Fuel Surcharge (FSC) based on the Fuel Cost Price charged at the Pump.  

 

Certain major account customers however would find that the company has held the FSC for individual customers based on usage of service, example being 15% FSC, which may differ from those illustrated below.

The FSC is calculated as a percentage of the total logistics cost and is directly tied to the prevailing fuel prices. By referencing the current fuel cost, we can provide a transparent and adjustable surcharge that reflects the true cost of fuel in our operational expenses.

 

This approach helps protect our customers from sudden and frequent changes in their logistics rates due to fuel price volatility.
